Outrigger is a little different to the usual wall stripping and slotted posts.

For starters, the slots are facing the wall, so slots are not seen.  This provides a cleaner look to store fixturing as the adjustability is hidden.

Secondly, accessories are used differently because of the reversed nature of the slots.  Let me explain this in more detail.

Let’s look at the Side Hang Rail.  In a usual slotted post setting, the Side Hang Rail is used for side hanging.  See fig 1.

Whereas, for the Outrigger system, a front hang rail is used for side hanging.  See Fig 2.

Similarly, for front hanging, a front hang rail is used for standard slotted posts.  See fig 3.

But for the Outrigger system, a Side Hang Rail, or U Bar, is used.  See fig 4.

Both our slotted wall posts and our Outrigger system have a 60mm pitch slot, therefore all of our 60mm pitch accessories work with either system.  These are available in satin chrome and black.

The Outrigger system is ideal for a boutique style setting and is great for fashion, due to the concealed slots, as it has more of a high end feel.  Homewares and gifts are another category where the Outrigger system can work well.  The strength of the system allows shelves to take on ample weight while the design offers something a little different to regular slotted uprights.
