Puck systems are a versatile and attractive means of displaying and merchandising product, either in a retail or exhibition environment. Puck systems are available in various sizes, and this can allow the merchandising of a wide selection of items.
Planograms are a great tool to help in achieving effective product merchandising, especially when trying to decide the layout of the Pucks on a wall or panel.
There are 3 main sizes of Puck systems. Below is a rundown of the elements and suitable uses for each of them.
Some examples of categories Push Button Puck is ideal for include apparel, denim, sportswear, homewares, hardware, gifts, toys and automotive products. The system is robust enough to take the weight of these types of products.
Ideally, spacing Pucks at the 300mm to 600mm wide centre range is what suits the majority of products. Accessory options include side and front hang rails, which will fit into Pucks spaced at 600mm wide centres. Other accessories in the range include forward arms, ticket holders, stepped arms, and shelves can be incorporated. Height spacings can vary and can be between the 300mm to 600mm range, or different depending on product merchandising requirements.
There are unlimited options when designing a Puck wall. It really is dependent on the products to be displayed. This is what makes the Push Button Puck system great to use, as it can be designed with the product in mind, yet flexible to allow for any changes.
The Push Button puck is available in a Chrome finish, with accessories also in Chrome.
The system can be used to fit out an entire store, for use on cladded walls or incorporated into floor fixtures.
Midi Puck is great for medium weight products such as children’s wear, baby’s wear, swimwear, intimate wear, shoes & accessories and stationery. A double sided version is available for acrylic and glass panels, or for floor fixtures that require Midi Pucks on both sides.
Midi Pucks can be spaced to suit the products to be displayed. Spacings can work at 200mm high x 200mm wide, or 300mm high x 300mm wide, and is entirely dependent on the size of the products to be merchandised.
Arms in various lengths are available and shelves can be incorporated.
Mini Puck is suitable for hang sell and smaller, lighter weight items. Products such as glasses, stationery, jewellery, shoes, scarves and children’s accessories work well with the system. Accessories in the range include hooks, cover caps, shelf grips and wine bottle cradles.
Spacings for Mini Puck should be closer together, to reflect the size of what is on display. 100 to 200mm wide centres with 200 to 300mm height centres are a good range to work with.
Ideal for dedicated areas within a store, for smaller items and can be incorporated into floor fixtures, Mini Puck is a relatively cost effective solution for a flexible hang sell display area.
